Sender reputation

Sender reputation is the carrier-assigned trust score for each sending number, built from delivery rate, complaint rate, opt-out rate, content patterns, and historical behavior.

Why it matters

Reputation compounds. A clean sending history opens up better delivery, higher throughput, and less aggressive filtering. A bad history is hard to recover — and often easier to abandon the number entirely.

How it affects messaging performance

Per-number reputation tracking lets operators see degradation early. Without it, the first sign of trouble is a campaign that quietly underperforms because half the messages got filtered.
